Uploading Stops

  1. Navigate to the UPLOAD page
  2. Check the "Upload as Stops" checkbox
  3. Proceed to perform your upload, using either the Classic uploader, the Drag n Drop uploader or the text entry uploader
  4. Your numbers will be uploaded and processed as Stops and therefore suppressed on your account

Appending numbers to lists

There are a few was to append numbers to existing lists, depending on how many numbers you wish to add and the format of your data.

  • Add a single number to a list
    1. Navigate to the dashboard page
    2. Scroll down to the section titled "Quick Number Add"
    3. Enter the number you wish to add
    4. Enter the name of the list that you want to add the number to
    5. Click the "Add Number" button
    6. Check the progress in the action viewer
    7. Once complete, the number will have been added to your list

  • Add a list of numbers to list
    1. Navigate to the UPLOAD page
    2. Check the "Append to Existing List" checkbox
    3. You'll be presented with a drop-down list, select the list you wish to append to
    4. Copy and paste your numbers into the texbox labelled "Numbers"
    5. Click the "Upload this List" button
    6. Check the progress in the Action Viewer
    7. Once complete, the numbers will be added to your list

  • Add a File of numbers to a list (.csv, .xlsx and .txt)
    1. Navigate to the UPLOAD page
    2. Check the "Append to Existing List"
    3. Select the list you wish to append to from the drop-down list
    4. Drag and Drop your file into the grey upload area (must have valid header information)
    5. Check the progress of the upload in the Action Viewer
    6. Once complete, the numbers will be added to the list that you selected

Delete a list

  1. Navigate to the Lists/Views page (NOTE: you will NOT see this option in the menu if you have not enabled Advanced mode)
  2. Click on the "List Actions" option
  3. You'll now be presented wih a list of all of your lists, check the one you wish to delete
  4. To delete the list, click on the "Delete seected lists" link
  5. You'll be prompted to confrm that you do ndeed, wish to delete the lists selected
  6. Click "Yes, I want to delete all selected lists", to confirm.
  7. Your list will then be deleted

Download a list

If you need to export your lists you can easily do so by following the steps below, you can also choose to export only the numbers which haven't been stopped.

  1. Navigate to the lists/views page
  2. Select the list you want to download from the dropdown list
  3. Now click on the "Examine List" option
  4. Click on the "Dowload" link to download the list, optionally you can check the "Exclude Stops" checkbox to exclude any supressed numbers from the downloaded dataset

Merge Lists together

This tool allows you to merge two or more lists together into one large list. Please note that the original individual lists will be replaced with a single list.

  1. Navigate to the Lists/Views page
  2. Click the "List Actions" option
  3. select the lists that you wish to merge together
  4. Click the "Merge selected lists"
  5. Enter the name of the new list in the Textbox provided
  6. Click the "Merge Seleced Lists" link below the textbox to perform the merge

Chunking a list

Chunking a list allows you to split your list into chunks of a specified size of your choice. This is useful if you don't want to send to a complete list at once, the original full list will remain accessible.

  1. Navigate to the Lists/Views page
  2. Click the "List Actions" option
  3. Select the list you wish to break into chunks
  4. Click the "Break selected list into chunks" link form the right hand pane
  5. Enter a name for the new lists, each chunk will be incrementally suffixed with P1, P2, P3 etc
  6. Enter the chunk size (how many numbers you want in each list)
  7. Click the link labelled "Chunk Selected List" to perform the chunking
  8. You can check the progress of the chunking in the Action Viewer

HLR a list

HLR lookups can save you money. If you perform a HLR lookup on a list of numbers, you can filter out all of the numbers which are undeliverable, reducing your send cost to just the deliverable numbers.

The cost of a HLR is a fraction of actually performing a send so if you have large lists we highly recommended that you HLR them. find out more about HLRs here

  1. Navigate to the Lists/Views page
  2. Select the list you wish to HLR
  3. Click the "Examine List" option
  4. Click the "HLR this List" link
  5. Click confirm to proceed
  6. You can check the progress and the results of the HLR in Action Viewer
